Welcome to Danzhai Wax Print Art Space:
We are a traditional cultural experience museum centered on wax printing, an intangible cultural heritage of the Miao people in Danzhai, Guizhou. The ancient technique of “using knife as brush and wax as ink” has been passed down for thousands of years. Each piece is hand-painted by Miao artisans and colored with natural plant dyes. The patterns are inspired by the legends of ancient Miao songs and natural totems, and the blue and white colors are interwoven to tell the philosophy of life deep in the mountains.

Usage and maintenance:
1. Before first use, it is recommended to gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove any floating colors (natural dye properties).
2. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or soaking, store in a cool and ventilated place.
3. If cleaning is required, please hand wash with cold water and do not machine wash, bleach, or dry clean.
4. Slight fading is a natural characteristic of plant dyes and does not affect their use.
Matters needing attention:
-Do not touch sharp objects to avoid scratching the fabric.
-Keep away from high temperature sources, beeswax may soften when exposed to heat.
-Due to handmade production, there may be slight differences in the position of the pattern and the depth of dyeing, which is a characteristic of the craftsmanship and not a quality issue. Due to transportation damage and product quality issues, handmade products cannot be returned or exchanged.
